Last weekend ahseng go Homefix walk walk marh, wan to zhng the car then suddenly see this flourescent light cheap cheap $9.90 only so think, ok lah, buy lor! Since good can now have light to see inside the engine any problem.

So after ah seng buy, go back in car, then open the box and plug the lamp lah. Testing mah! Then, wah!!! Very bright! Very good! Ah seng like! Working mah, so receipt and box can throw liao lor.

Then suddenly remember mah, ah seng at home got some old 12v lead acid battery for those motorbike type. The battery is chui already, cannot start motor, but still can give 12v. Ah seng not stupid ok! Got voltmeter can check one ok!

So ah seng bring the light home. The light got two type of head, one is the car cigarette lighther type, another one is the buaya clip. Then ah seng see the instruction. In the instruction paper it says "WARNING: DO NOT ALLOW ALLIGATE CLIP TO TOUCH EACH OTHER WHEN USING CAR PLUG OTHERWISE ELETRIC HAZARD MIGHT OCCUR. PROTECT CLIP WHEN USING CAR PLUG ALWAYS. MADE IN CHINA." Wahlau ah seng never see this warning just now! Lucky testing in car nothing kena otherwise car explode liao! Where got people design a light plug got car adaptor then still got two buaya clip outside hanging and can accidentaly touch each other one! Only ancient army thing then got this kind of wire lorh!

Anyway, so ah seng go and use the buaya clip connect to battery lor. Red wire go red side, black wire go black side, right? See! Ah send stupid, also not so stupid!!! HAHAHA!

But then, eh? Connect liao but how come no light! Ah seng blur blur. Check the battery again with volt meter, OK leh! Ah seng call teck come down, then teck come over take a look lor. He say, maybe the circuit need some load, then ah seng think, simi load? Downstair got one stack newspaper waiting for the karanguni lah, put on top of the lamp ok?

Nahbey! Teck scold me cockernarden! He say load is have to use some electric maybe then it will have electric flow, so he go and take a radio connect. The radio got music leh! But the light still NOTHING!

Then Teck open up the lamp and see, then he see got something wrong. He say the capacizor inside label (-) but the wire is the (+) colour (red), then the other side is (+) but the wire is go to the (-) side (black). He say something is wrong, so he say try connect opposite. He put the red wire to the black on the battery, then the black wire to the red on the battery, then WAH! Got light liao! Solid arh!!!

Then Teck say heng I never try to use buaya clip connect car battery. Sekali after connect something choot yen (smoke), then ah seng car might pok zah cos the battery is very poweful! Ah seng think, wah lau this kind also can pass QC and end up in high class store like Homefix! Si bey dangerous leh! Tolong lah! Next time don't trust what people make! Better check for yourself, later plug in the thing POK ZAH, your face disfigure, your didi chow dar arh!!!

How can people say things like the doctor is from private clinic, got patient waiting, need to earn money first! This is got people injured. People eat halfway also stop and help. You are doctor, you should also help! Help! You know this word? Help!!! Next time doctor up lorry, u better don't ask for help! Because nobody will help! How can people say such a thing?

This is Singapore! This is how we have become! So lao kui!

Xiu Yan wrote in to express her disappointment with a doctor, who apparently refused to go to the aid of an old man who fell and was bleeding profusely.

The contributor was aghast at his nonchalance and unwillingness to help, but expresses gratitude and relief that other Good Samaritans rallied around the casualty to render aid.

Says Xiu Yan:

"According to the Doctor’s Ethical Code, a doctor is expected to “be prepared to treat patients on an emergency or humanitarian basis when circumstances permit.” Undeniably, the medical profession has always been held in the utmost esteem by the public, who look to their doctors for the relief of suffering and ailments. In fact, in modern medical practice, the public expects doctors to be responsible to the needs of the larger society too.

"However, what happened at Toa Payoh Central on 26th Aug 2008 (Tuesday), makes me rethink about the professionalism of some doctors.

"At around evening time, an elderly man slipped and fell due to the wet weather condition. It was a very nasty fall and there was a pool of blood on the floor. Many good Samaritans (from different age groups, races and backgrounds) took the initiative to call for an ambulance and rendered assistance in every possible way.

"However, none of us are medically trained and the condition of the elderly man seemed to deteriorate; hence we decided to seek professional advice and assistance from a nearby clinic.

"I went to a nearby clinic to inform the staff and doctor about the situation, hoping to seek professional help.

"However, the doctor was diagnosing a patient, and I was informed by the staff that he would make a trip there after this consultation session.

"To be frank, I felt disheartened and exasperated, as there was no sense of urgency from this doctor.

"Perhaps, in the eyes’ of that doctor, this was not a life-threatening situation. Nonetheless, as a member of the public who desperately want to help the injured elderly, I am disappointed with the doctor’s reaction.

"After waiting for a few minutes, I returned back to the scene and was hoping that the ambulance had arrived and the elderly man would be well taken care of.

"However, the ambulance was not there and the elderly man seemed to be losing consciousness.

"Therefore, I made another trip back to the clinic to seek for professional assistance.

"To my utter disappointment, the doctor did not seem to have the intention to take a look at the situation. I had to personally request to see the doctor and speak to him before he made his trip to the scene.

"While we were heading to the scene, he said, “Actually do you know there is another nearby clinic?”

"I have met many dedicated doctors and healthcare professionals, who are compassionate and are prepared to go the extra mile for his/her patients and the public.

"Nonetheless, this unfortunate incident has definitely made me lose faith in this particular doctor."

You know something must be wrong with the commercial property market when even banks decide the rent is too high and they decide to move out. One such example is DBS who decided to close its branch at Liat Towers in the heart of Orchard Road because of a huge rent increase. The bank's spokesperson Jenny Lee told Singapore Business Review that DBS decided to shift its branch from Liat Towers to Ngee Ann City due to a "substantial increase in rental." ... Even the chairman is concerned, with Koh Boon Hwee stating that "DBS may not be able to get the space it wants as rental prices continue to escalate." Which begs the question: If Singapore top banks can't afford the rent, who can, who will, and is this market overpriced? And is this the beginning of an exodus of the very banks Singapore is trying to lure here to build a financial hub?

DBS will not be the last to say goodbye to the CBD, it seems, as Citi, Stanchart, Credit Suisse and OCBC are already shifting their back-office operations...

Just now meet Teck for coffee, Teck tell me his last time girlfriend is a nurse work at a local gahmen hospital. I don't want say which one. Singapore only got few, so u can go tikam. Later ah seng kena sue backside, also $700k.

So his girlfriend got one day very busy, happen to have this patient who suffer 2nd degree burns and bandage all over. Then the doctor want to check the patient but because she is already attending another patient more urgent case, she say no time to help doctor unwrap bandage and later wrap back. But the doctor insist, he say he need to go already, so she say OK, help the doctor unwrap but the doctor must wrap back. Then she unwrap liao go attend the other patient. Sekali she come back, she saw the patient lying there, the doctor ciao liao, the wound there open big big. Ah seng stupid also not so stupid! How can wound leave open! Will have infection one ok! Ah seng hear this story liao, blood boil! Have to order 1 more cup of jia jia liang teh cool down!

U see lah. Singapore this kind of doctor. Got use or not. Time's up want to go liao. Nurse job means nurse job, doctor also dun want to do. This one not their responsibility. People life at stake leh!!! You think like watch TV arh, the ER show.. the doctor so zai, everything do swee swee. Pui!!!!!!!!! Singapore doctor, kanasai! Even though this family is kena the $700k bill and assume the hospital really got ask them pay up, I ask you larh, who can pay! Healthcare is something necessity. Have to take care of the people. This kind of price, only the VIP can afford, then what ah seng going to do when I old? If ah seng within the next 10-20 years don't earn enough money, siao liao lor! Si liao lor! Yesterday meet John la kopi again. Usually he drink kopi gao, today he only order kopi. I tot that cockernarden order sala, so I shout the auntie is kopi gao, then he shout back, "boh lah, kopi nia." Wahlaueh make ah seng so damn malu. Then he tell me he not feeling well, then I know must be something wrong liao lor. So ah seng ask what wrong lah, then Jon say... down there zeng ah. Then I ask him why, he say he d unno leh. I told that blardee idiot liao don't always visit the lup sup bar, then I ask him how many times he go last week. He say 7. Wahlaneh, everyday also go! Limpeh tell him... ORBEE ah! Who tell him everyday go. He say nowadays the girl all don't want provide extra service, so he have to poh heng suay everyday go and try hook up one xiao mei mei. Wahlau now he xiao mei mei also don't let go.. this guy need to see two kind of doctor liao. One is the doctor to cure his below, the other one is mental doctor arh!

Wahlaneh. Recently ah seng business no good mar, so go and do part time delivery lor. Ah seng so many years never have to do this kind of part time, but recently the price all go up ah seng buay tong lah. How you want loan shark to earn money? Limpeh money also come from people. Loan people 20% interest u think easy to take back arh? People knn need to eat need to shit need to sleep. Food expensive, toilet also need water, house lagi worse have to tiap the COV... u think what? COV stand for cash on valentine's day ah? You wait long long! Is limpeh ah seng help so many people out there ok!

Today go work earlier, cos have to deliver goods mah. So today the Subaru is park at home, drive the pickup lor. After pickup the thing from Jurong, I drive down AYE going up to ECP... traffic is super knn knn knn knn slow! Then at alexendra there, kena $1... wat else! ERP lor! Traffic like fuck, still kena ERP. Then the gahmen very smart. The whole AYE jam from Jurong East until fucking Alexendra, but the ERP put just before Alexendra! Then after the gantry all exit Alexendra liao, the road to CTE/ECP is so smooth. Statistics on paper very nice lah, road speed after ERP gangtry improve by 30km/h. This kind of idea, no need scholar! When come to a stop, what happen? The whole road jam liao lor. Like the domeno ah.. wat is that call.. the brick u put in one row then u push one the rest start to fall like kallang wave like that very nice. But this one oh the road not nice. Limpeh leg cramp!! The gahmen should therefore fine the mothercheebye who always tailgate lah! Ah seng hate people who tailgate and flash flash then later over take u then cut in front of you dangerously. Ni nah bey. Peak hour should also not allow motor to drive on right most lane!

Wahlau this morning I going CCK rah, wan to meet Teck la kopi then collect the TV he want to give me. He go and sign up dunno what thing then got free TV, then he alreay got big TV so he pass me the other one. This kind of fren, where go find right! Solid. Like brudder. Got good stuff share with me, when kenasai also share with me. Haiyah, long story. But this is not today story.

Today story is I go CCK, maybe about 9.30 am rah. Then I reach there the carpark behind the CC, dunno what happen. I turn behind parking, a lot of car, very crowded, then got one bukit batok driving L plate car blocking. I thought waht happen, maybe the L plate langah people. Then one guy come and kock on limpeh newly clean shiny window. Nahbey. Leave his oily fingerprint! Nevermind. Ah seng not so kan bu kai. I turn down the window, then he say, "Sorry, here got road safety demo." Simi lanchiao? Road safety demo? Sunday morning leh. Limpeh want to go fren house la kopi, the whole carpark become road safety demo? Li wu siao boh!

What can ah seng do? Limpeh not gahmen. Lan lan lorh, try to 3-point turn in the end become maybe 11-point turn. The whole place like shit like that car keep coming in but all stuck cannot go out! Then I go other carpark, also full. Everywhere full. Ah seng say, CCK power lah, Sunday morning leh, carpark more xiong to find than Shenton way weekday 9am arh!
